A rustic retreat without pretense, Big Bar guests are welcomed like family. Laid back and friendly professional service is delivered with the goal of having you leave feeling like Big Bar Ranch is your personal “Home on the Range”. Whether that’s having your breakfast prepared just the way you like it,  breathing in the smell of pine wafting on the air from the seat of your saddle overlooking the Fraser River, or taking a bottle of wine back to your cabin to watch the sun set over the mountain range, you will feel relaxed and at home.

We are family friendly and love kids and  dogs. Young children will enjoy pony rides, attempting to catch sight of our wildlife, archery lessons, paddle boats, canoes and lawn games. Big kids will learn character building new skills and how to connect and communicate with their horse. Archery lessons, canoes and paddle boats are available to keep your little ones unplugged, curious and active.

 During your stay with us you will become immersed in the daily ebb and flow of authentic ranch life. It’s our pleasure to share with you the experience of the Western frontier. Your Ranch Hosts

The animals at Big Bar Ranch are our reason for everything. We pride ourselves in providing them with a healthy home to live and grow. The ranch is home to roughly 40 horses, two dozen Jersey steers, chickens, pigs and Boer goats; and of course, you cannot forget the ranch dogs. All together they make up a wonderfully large family of characters. There is never a dull moment on the farm. We would be delighted if you joined in on all the fun.
